Purple Gelato Characteristics
A native of California, Purple Gelato was named for its bright purple colors and dessert-like gourmet fragrance. In the eye candy department, its resin buds, purple leaves, and bright orange pistils give it attractiveness, and such characteristics are the outcome of a careful breeding program that lasts for many generations. The outstanding genes of Sunset Sherbert and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies are mixed with purple gelato (GSC). Sherbert, recognized for his incredibly powerful height, comes from the classic GSC crossed with Pink Panties. It has a nuanced scent of skunky citrus, candy, and sweet berries. The other parent is a GSC phenotype which sports the genetics of Durban Poison and OG Kush. Novices should know much better than their appetizingly sweet minty taste to attract them-it causes an intense full-body reaction that can even disable veterans.
A THC powerhouse of tantalizing flavors and a stunning fragrance composed of sweet berries, mint, and citrus resulted in such an astounding blend of genetics. This cross causes an initial surge of stimulating euphoria, just like its predecessors, with extreme physical relief which does not usually transform to couch-lock. With Purple Gelato’s extremely rich terpene profile dominating limonene, pinene, myrcene, and caryophyllene, it’s not shocking that it packs such a delicious fragrance.
A combination of mint, lime, berry, strawberry, floral, and cookies, with hints of blueberry and orange, greets the senses with every sniff, and tearing apart the buds reveals a delicate medicinal and oaky scent. Purple Gelato has a strongly acidic tone, delightfully balanced by the soft nuances of berry and pine. Its highly pleasing taste serves a wide range of palates and tastes.

What Growers Need To Know About Purple Gelato
Even for seasoned growers, Purple Gelato is very difficult to cultivate. It can be very finicky to maintain the right circumstances, but it is still feasible given the cultivator has the requisite expertise and skills in cannabis cultivation techniques. It is also important to spend more time and effort in carefully monitoring the maturation progress of the plant. The top-notch buds it creates, despite the tough work it takes, make all the difficulty more than worth it. As long as the weather is hot and humid, Purple Gelato can be grown indoors or outdoors. An essential factor is the option of the rising medium as it will impact the growth rate drastically. Organic soil can increase the terpene profile, but special care and elaborate pest control are often required. On the other hand, hydroponics directly feeds the nutrients into the roots, resulting in faster and more vigorous growth. Purple Gelato, like most Indica-dominant hybrids, is lightweight and durable, making it ideal for the Sea of Green system. This strategy not only shortens the vegging phase but after a relatively quick flowering cycle of 8 to 9 weeks, it also increases the yield per square foot to 1.63-1.96 ounces. By the end of October, outdoors, which has plenty of sunlight, each plant can grow about 14 to 21 ounces of buds.

A total package for me.. Everything was good. They grew in a very set environment. They are 40 inches in height within 3 weeks. What I am watching every grow are the molds. But I am sure, the plant will get through on it if ever. Over all, outstanding!
