Do-si-Dos Strain Characteristics
Do-Si-Dos may not be as well recognized as its parent strains, but it’s also definitely not a slouch. It provides a highly psychoactive body stone, an Indica strain, which is said to alleviate stress and pain. Girl Scout Cookies (GSC) are responsible for a great deal of the genetics of Do-Si-Dos. The twisting green calyxes, purple leaves, and flaming orange pistils of the parent strain are shockingly apparent in the offspring. It also handed on the popular high output of resin that led it to win many cups of cannabis.
GSC itself is an immaculate strain with almost no poor characteristics, the breeders wanted to further improve the physical results. This hard-hitting Indica hybrid, a phenotype of OG Kush, is named after the deadening body sensation it provides. Consumers appear to lose themselves in obscurity at the zenith of a psychedelic high.
A widely underestimated strain is Do-Si-Dos, but that could be all about to change. Such feminized seeds contain an immensely powerful plant that could exceed 30 percent of THC volume, an ungodly amount that is most definitely not for the fainthearted. Its usefulness is said to reach well beyond recreational usage at low doses, as it may also have various medical advantages. Its scent is one characteristic that Do-Si-Dos certainly did not derive from GSC. This hybrid often embodies a dank, oaky odor with a slight skunky note, instead of providing a sweet, flowery fragrance.
Do-si-Dos Strain Effects
Do-Si-Dos is best used to top off a stressful day and is all about offering holistic relief at night. It offers a strong euphoric high that sweeps away any negative thoughts and feelings, boosts the mood, and creates a light and bright attitude. You’ll probably be more sensitive to visual and auditory stimuli. Next, the entire body is swept by a soothing wave, making every inch of the anatomy unexpectedly feel heavy and yet delicate at the same time. Resting on the sofa at this stage becomes an unavoidable possibility, and soon you will be resting against the backdrop of a joyful, floating dreamscape. Sleep is likely to come knocking after an hour or so.
Do-Si-Dos is often said to offer a plentiful source of head-to-toe relaxation, apart from offering pre-bedtime enjoyment. It has both anodyne and anti-inflammatory effects, making it a theoretically outstanding painkiller. A list of physically tormenting disorders, including migraines, nausea, joint pain, PMS, muscle aches, and multiple sclerosis, has been used to relieve them. Do-Si-Dos can also alleviate stress and other mental health problems, apart from physical pains. Its anti-depressant and anxiolytic characteristics can help individuals cope with stress and anxiety.
Finally, this strain can also help to get a good night’s sleep for insomniacs, thus possibly reducing fatigue symptoms. Needless to say, it is better enjoyed at night or when any obligation is clear from the calendar since its high persists for at least an hour and can last much longer for the slumber that comes afterward. Use it in moderation to get the best out of this plant. Cottonmouth and dry eyes can be caused by its efficacy, even at normal doses. More serious side effects, such as blurred vision, nausea, or even paranoia, can manifest at higher dosages.
What Growers Need To Know About Do-si-Dos Strain
Without the toils that cannabis cultivation frequently requires, growing Do-Si-Dos gives you the chance to get your hands on a stockpile of potent buds. The easy-to-grow nature of the strain suggests that it only requires regular gardening treatment to prosper. It’s best to raise it indoors, where you have total environmental power. A temperature of about 74 ° F and around 55 percent RH level are the most basic requirements. You could obtain around 1.31 and 1.63 ounces per square foot at harvest time with the use of the Sea of Green setup.
The buds are grouped together in small clusters, and you can find green forest leaves covered by bright orange hair and icy white crystals at the late vegetative phase. The plant will take on a beautiful purple hue if subjected to colder weather at night. Feel free to grow this hybrid al fresco if you live in a high, semi-humid area. In ideal conditions, an average yield per plant can be as much as 17 ounces.
Some flowering impressions of 8-9 weeks are produced by these delightful plants and will also grow to GSC in general, but with a smidgen more stretch. For an outdoor plot, a mild, semi-humid environment is perfect, and if you are fortunate to live where those circumstances prevail, there may be approximately 500 grams of average production for each plant.

Currently on its 3rd week now. Truly happy with this one. Among the rest, it stands out. Good yield, good genetics. I put some led lights at the grow room. Can’t wait to smoke! +A

In 4th week of flower and my do so dos are budding out nice. Amazing terpene smell. I will say even though they are indica dominant. 2 of the 4 I have growing really stretched at the beginning of flower while the other two grew bushier with more colas and less stretch. I know there are different strain phenotypes, I recommend buying the 10 pack like I did and then hunting down your favourite pheno to clone. I am really happy with this strain. It grows good and actually doesn’t mind lower humidity just watch the nutrients and also light burn seems to happen easy with this strain. They don’t mind the light backed off a bit
